p. 191 Case Study Answers

1. The media specialist was concerned about the environment one computer would put the classroom in. This would make it tough for students to work together on projects and make the focus on one student at a time. Though having a laptop would give the teacher good access to a personal computer to create study tools for students.
3. I would start with resources that would benefit the students the most, starting with a SMART board if one is not already available. SMART board's make it more interactive for students, allowing them to come up to the board and make things move and write down their answers, bringing the old chalkboard to more modern standards. Also with having the SMART board I would get some programs for game-like activities that help with counting or certain mathematic subjects.
